Allis Chalmers凝灰泵 CW Pump Range
Tuff H Series
Hard Metal Slurry Pump
The old Allis Chalmers CW hard metal slurry pump range was one of the original and most reliable backbone ranges of the old Allis Chalmers product line and is currently manufactured by Tuff Pumps under its equivalent H Series range and, as such, has retained its dimensional and material compatibility whilst ensuring that current material technology advancements are incorporated in the material options provided; with these being 28% High Chrome Iron, Ni-hard IV, SG Iron and Urethane.
Hardness of 450 to 700 BHN can be achieved on hydraulic wear parts; such as casings/volutes, impellers, and suction/stuffing box wear plates, however, for some specific mining/mineral and/or effluent applications, impellers and/or wear plates can be supplied in urethane.
Pump Sizes:
Group 1 Bearing Frame:
H4/3-12 = 4x3x11.5 CWH
H5/4-12 = 5x4x11.5 CWH
Group 2 Bearing Frame:
H5/4-17 = 5x4x17 CWG
H6/5-17 = 6x5x17 CWG
H8/6-17 = 8x6x17 CWG
H10/8-17 = 10x8x17 CWF
H12/10-17 = 12x10x17 CWE
Group 3 Bearing Frame:
H8/6-21 = 8x6x21 CWJ
H10/8-21 = 10x8x21 CWG
H12/10-21 = 12x10x21 CWF
H14/12-21 = 14x12x21 CWE
H16/12-21 = 16x14x21 CWG
Group 4 Bearing Frame:
H8/6-21 = 8x6x25 CWK
For those that do not know, the first number in the above pump designation refers to the suction nozzle nominal bore, the second to the discharge nominal bore, and the third to the full impeller diameter. The old “CWJ” type designations are a throw-back to the 1950’s, 60’s & 70’s but still known by some end users and still useful for pump recognition where all else fails.
The NEW Group 1 bearing frame is equivalent to the old F6D2 frame;
the NEW Group 2 bearing frame is equivalent to the old F6E2 frame;
the NEW Group 3 bearing frame is equivalent to the old F6F2 frame
the NEW Group 4 bearing frame has no equivalent designation and is now somewhat unique to Tuff Pumps.
All bearing frames, cylinders and bearing end caps are manufactured using SG/Ductile Iron, as opposed to inferior Grey Cast Iron that some still use, and shafts can be supplied in standard SAE 1045 Steel, 316 or 304SS, and Duplex Stainless Steel.
Grease or oil mist lubrication options are available and standard lip seal and deflector type bearing sealing systems can be replaced with up-to-date labyrinth type sealing systems.
As with the original range, the Tuff Pumps H Series equivalents can be supplied with standard gland packed stuffing boxes, mechanical seals, or dynamic/expeller type sealing arrangements.
