The Class TH High Pressure Reducing Valve, has been developed to extend the range of the Class T & TLP.Our new Class TH is now able to operate with higher outlet pressures. Extended pressure offering:Maximum 20 Barg (290 Psig) outlet pressure.The Class TH is a balanced direct acting pressure reducing valve and is designed for applications that have varying inlet pressures and capacities, requiring positive “shut-off” under no flow conditions. All Bailey valves are manufactured to the highest levels of quality and the Class TH is no exception. It is manufactured to the ISO9001 quality standard and is CE certified where required within the PED. The Class TH is a self actuated valve that requires no external power source. This, along with its simple design, allows the valve to be easily maintained and serviced, without being removed from the line. Higher Outlet Pressures Class TH H i g h P r e s s u r e R e d u c i n g Va l v e DIMENSIONS The Class TH High Pressure Reducing Valve, has been developed to increase the outlet pressures available from the Class T range of valves. The existing range utilises diaphragm technology to regulate the closing pressure. This technology relies on the flexibility of rolling rubber diaphragms, which limit the maximum outlet pressure due to the strength of the rubber. Within the Class TH High Pressure Reducing Valve, the diaphragm is replaced with a piston (Y). The outlet pressure is sensed up through port (X) to the underside of the piston. This design allows much higher pressures to be accommodated and is less susceptible to pressure spikes and water hammer.
