Severn Trent De Nora to Showcase Electrochlorination Treatment Technologies at Sea Japan 2014
Severn Trent De Nora, a leading provider of electrochlorination disinfection systems, will showcase its ballast water treatment and seawater desalination systems at Sea Japan on 9-11 April, 2014, in Tokyo, Japan.
The following technologies will be featured during the exhibition at stand 1H-05:
• BALPURE® – The Type-Approved and patented ballast water treatment system is one of the most trusted solutions available. BALPURE is a simple, reliable and flexible electrolytic disinfection treatment solution that meets the most stringent ballast water discharge requirements. BALPURE is the preferred method of ballast water treatment for crude oil tankers, chemical/product tankers, LNG/LPG carriers, bulk carriers and container ships. The BALPURE system surpasses requirements for IMO G8 Type Approval and IMO Ballast Water Convention D-2 Standards.
• CECHLO-M – Established in Japan over 35 years ago, the CECHLO-M electrochlorination system is for the on-site generation of sodium hypochlorite used for biofouling control in power plants, cooling towers, liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminals and desalination facilities, as well as coastal installations using seawater for cooling or other process needs. CECHLO-M produces the required amount of sodium hypochlorite through the electrolysis of the seawater.
• SEACLOR® – SEACLOR® systems are the standard and preferred electrochlorination unit for biofouling control in power plants, cooling towers, liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminals and desalination facilities, as well as coastal installations using seawater for cooling or other process needs.
